Your favorite Trail-a-thon is back for its 11th edition.
It is going to be held on the 14th of Jan, 2024.
Its start is from the Dome by Shikhar Dhawan in Gurgaon.
Trail-a-thon, over the years symbolizes the spirit of Delhi NCR, ie. Run with fun. Held in
the sacred forests of Mangar, it is a pioneer in providing a challenging yet luxurious
experience to runners and nature lovers to experience the Aravalis
What’s new in Trail-a-thon 2024
While we retain all the fun and challenges of the earlier editions, as usual, we are
adding some twists to the new edition:
Trail Blazer, Trail Conqueror and Trail Lover medals
For the 11th edition, we have introduced Trail Blazer (Gold), Trail Conqueror (Silver) and Trail Lover (Bronze) medals basis cut off times as under for each of the categories:

Introducing the 5Kms Nature Walk Category
After mild testing of a short walk, we are now launching the 5kms Nature walk for both nature lovers as well as families of runners. It has been a constant request from runners that their families do not get to experience the beauty of the Aravalis and the fun and frolic post the run. Thus the introduction of the 5Kms nature walk where the participants will be led by experts from I am Gurgaon who will impart knowledge sessions on the go on the flora and fauna of the Aravalis so not only do participants go back refreshed but also can boast their knowledge on the Aravalis with their friends! For those not familiar with Gurgaon Civic Society, I am Gurgaon is perhaps the most well known name for doing excellent work in making Gurgaon a better, greener and more environment friendly city to live in. It is credited with some of the most amazing spaces reclaimed by the citizens; be it the well known Biodiversity Park or the Wazirabad bundh redevelopment So what else?
We will have camel rides and painting competition for the kids, kite flying to celebrate
Makar Sankranti…it’s a carnival out there!
Trail-a-thon is the fruit of most Delhi NCR Groups coming together under the banner of Aravali Trail Blazers (ATB) with one purpose; to organize an event which can showcase the capabilities of the Running Community of Delhi NCR by organizing an event which will set standards for others to follow through its concept, innovations and execution providing benchmark for others to follow through a luxurious running event for runners and lots of fun for the families and non runners
A well established Event
Trail-A-Thon now in its 11th year does not need any introduction; it has evolved to become the largest and hottest Trail Running Event in the country. It is a time chipped event on a luxurious well supported fully runnable trail but with a few twists and turns to ensure there are enough challenges for even the most seasoned runners. It takes place in the scenic Manger forest region of the Aravalis in Gurgaon. It is also an event where the running community comes together to create awareness about the Aravalis and their awareness thus helping in their conservation, Besides serious runners, there is also plenty for the walkers, nature lovers and families of runners to join in and enjoy the beautiful day walking in the forest with plenty of activities to keep them engaged
As a runner you get to ‘Extend your limits’
We all know that the standard distances are 5,10, 21 and 42 kms, however here we encourage runners to push themselves just a little more so the distances went to 7,14,28 with a ultra 56kms run for the ultra running junkies.
Plenty of fun and goodies
Trail-A-Thon is known for its amazing merchandize and fun quotient. It has given goodies like run jerseys, technical shorts, arm sleeves, etc. to ensure that you have an apparel which will go beyond the event, which you can enjoy year after year. Even today it is not surprising to see a runner running in the t shirt provided in the 1st edition, yes, a decade back! In fact Trail-a-thon is the event which started the trend of runners being given super star royal treatment. We have innovated in our technical gear, year after year. Our innovative medals too are a legend. We have given the first metal cut medal, the first wooden medal, the first and only technical whistle for runners to use while running, the first and only medal which was also a belt buckle. So innovation and trendsetting is in the DNA for Trail-a-thon Trail-a- hon is also known for providing unique experiences to runners; from live flute players in the jungle to masseurs on the trail, piping hot food, right in the jungle to fresh sugarcane juice. We have given it all. We even have our own definition of Camelbak; where in the runners get water on the trail with moving aid station on the back of camels! Finally, of course, the photos, we have the highest number of photos that one can have and with some amazing background!

For The Nature Lovers: ‘Run, reclaim and revive Aravalis’: Aravalis are all around us and they are gorgeous; unfortunately that is one of the best kept secrets of NCR. Trail-A-Thon lets you see the best of nature, right in Gurgaon and in an extremely safe environs. ATB also prides itself in ensuring that we leave the trail cleaner than we find at the beginning of the event. Thus food and water is served in either steel crockery or in ecofriendly disposable ones. Even the water stations have only paper cups with limited number of bottles. Over the years all our runners have been provided with water bottles specially for running thus we encourage participants to bring their bottles and only refill to minimize wastage.
We have partnered with I am Gurgaon and WildLife SOS to give you an invigorating morning which will leave you enthralled with knowledge on Aravalis Trail-A-Thon is all about showcasing the Aravalis; from their astounding beauty to ensuring the lovely and unique flora and fauna. We pride ourselves in leaving the trails cleaner than when we found them!
