Udupi Triathlon -113

A Udupi Triathlon -113 is an endurance multisport race consisting of three sports, namely swimming, cycling, and running over various distances. The sequence of events in a triathlon is Swim first, Bike next and then Run. The race starts with the swim first, and once the participants finish the swim, they hop on to their bikes for the next leg of the race, and once they’re done with the cycling segment, they transition to the run leg, which is the final part of the race. Triathletes compete for fastest overall completion time, racing each segment sequentially with the transition time between the three disciplines included.

The sport of Triathlon originated in the 1970’s, but it has been a fairly recent entry into India. The sport is however, fast growing and attracts a lot of athletes into trying out who is the strongest of them all. With very few Triathlons being conducted in India, NEB is proud to be a pioneer in the sport – hoping to give a boost to the growth of tri-culture and making it accessible to all. The second edition of the Udupi Triathlon -113 will be held on 14th-15th Dec 2024.
